Tip: list topics by creation date

If you find the Latest topics list a little confusing sometimes, you’re not alone. It is sorted by some combination of, at least:

  • pinning (pinned topics show at the top)
  • topic creation date
  • last edit date
  • last reply date
  • last like date

It’s surprisingly unsupported in the UI to list topics purely by creation date, as they would be on reddit or lemmy.
