Plain Text Accounting for Small Businesses

Hi everyone,

I’ve been playing around with Ledger, hledger, and Beancount for small business accounting. It is really useful. I like how everything is in plain text. The things are very easy to read and edit, and even track changes if you use version control. Also, I can generate reports, and even manually entering transactions helps you keep track of your finances.

I’m curious about how other people handle multi-currency accounts or inventory management in plain text. Do you have any tips, tricks, or scripts that make it easier?
