I have refactored my files countless times. For this reason, I like beancount because of its stricter syntax. Fortunately, I don't have many transactions. But every year it gets more complicated because the number of transactions is growing.
Currently, I'm revisiting my trading transaction and i'm afraid that I will have to leave beancount, because it doesn't go well with the tax system in my country. After many hours, I came to the conclusion that a new PTA tool needs to be created 
Even (h)ledegr does not satisfy my needs. And plugins are, at best, too clumsy.
