Do you have README file?

I don't and am planning on writing one. Care to inspire me?

What kind of README are we talking about?

README that describes the technical details of your setup and workflow? I will shamelessly plug GitHub - adept/full-fledged-hledger: Tutorial on Hledger setup with multi-year files, multi-source imports and a range of auto-generated reports for this one

Or README that describes the "financial situation"? I have "break glass if something happened to me" kind of document that I am not comfortable to share publicly, but it was heavily inspired by eol-dr/checklist.md at fa6bf476c083787d227515e662f52faf2f0f580b · potatoqualitee/eol-dr · GitHub

full-fledged-hledger is one of the best material for hledger users, aside from the docs :+1:

I was more thinking about guidance on how to record stuff(You SHOULD xxx, YOU MAY NOT xxx...etc) or, like you mentioned, some technical details but I'm definitely writing my own "in case I get hit by a bus" file.

Thanks for your input!

You are too kind

This inspires me to go and give it another read and see if I can improve something ...
