# ANN: new tackler release (26.04.1) with accounts export

Hi all, there is a new tackler release ([26.04.1](https://github.com/tackler-ng/tackler/releases/tag/v26.04.1)) with a new [accounts export](https://tackler.fi/docs/tackler/latest/reports/export-accounts/).

This is a handy export, especially when you start the journal in ad-hoc mode (no predefined Chart of Accounts) or when you migrate from other PTA tools to tackler.

Once the account structure is settled, it will be easy to generate valid Chart of Accounts and start using [strict mode](https://tackler.fi/docs/tackler/latest/reference/tackler-toml/#_kernel) with the generated [account.toml](https://tackler.fi/docs/tackler/latest/reference/accounts-toml/).
